Fun fact: this was the first scene I shot with Sophia on her audition day.

Heads up: this scene is pretty short (under 4mins). That's just how it goes sometimes - I film these things and I think I've got a decent amount of footage but when I get it into the editing suite, there's just not as much as I thought.

Sophia is a dealer, part of gang that's been selling to high school students. After a tragedy involving one of the kids, a grieving father seeks brutal and bloody revenge. He approaches Sophia, but she trash talks him. He pulls his gun and cocky and over-confident Sophia doesn't think he'll pull the trigger - that is, until the muzzle flash and the first bullet slams into her belly, the second gunshot hitting her chest. Shocked but defiant, Sophia continues to taunt the father. He replies by emptying his gun into her body - bullet after bullet hits her chest, stomach, and belly. Blood spurts from her body as she begs him to finish her, a request he denies - leaving her to bleed out and cough up blood on the warehouse floor: a warning to other dealers.
