We kick off this month with a re-release from August 2021, which features the amazing Grace. If you like stabbings, stranglings, and stockinged feet, you should like Blown.
Grace stars as Sophie, an undercover cop, who is relaxing at home when she gets the call no undercover cop wants to get - it's her chief saying her cover is blown and that she needs to get to a safe house quickly.
Stupidly, she pauses to get her stash of cash - which is when she hears a window break and someone forcing a window open. Frozen with fear and too far from her gun, she pleads with her attacker in vain. His knife slams into her belly and the woman crumples forward on to her killer. She gasps in agony as he twists the knife before pulling it out and thrusting it into her breast. She screams with pain before coughing up her blood. The killer tells her that he's going to take it slow, take his time.
He pushed the woman to the couch and moves her gun, before circling behind her with a rope in his hand. The bloodied cop knows what's coming and begs for her life - even though she knows it over. She feels the rope tighten around her neck and she starts struggling to get free. As she is being choked, her shoes come off revealing her stockinged feet. She gasps for air as she is asphyxiated, and bravely tries to fight off the man. Despite her efforts, she slowly succumbs to being strangled and her life fades and her body shutdowns - and with one last exhale, she is dead.
