Grace shines in this spicy take on a belly stab betrayal.

As you know, I've been experimenting with ways to make death scenes more interesting - by inserting dialogue, body handling etc. When I shot with Grace, I just asked her to talk about the blood, pain etc - and she just ran with it and here it is. I really like what she does - so I'm interested to know what you think. Let me know in the comments if you want to see more scenes like this.

Grace has betrayed her country and stolen state secrets for her Russian lover. When he comes to collect the file, he explains that he must return to Russia now his mission is complete. Grace gets upset because he promised he would take her with him - now she has to stay and face execution for treason.

He quickly grabs her by the throat and plunges his knife deep into her belly. Blood spreads from the wound quickly as she gasps in pain and falls back onto the sofa. He twists the knife to ensure maximum internal damage and gets up to leave, grabbing the file.

He pauses and passes Grace the phone, explaining that she has a choice - she can bleed out and fall asleep or she can call for an ambulance and take her chances on prison or execution. He leaves her bleeding on the sofa.

Grace calls the emergency services and the ambulance guy tells her to keep talking. She talks about the big blade sticking out her belly, she talks about how much hot sticky blood there is and how droppy it is.

Weak with blood loss, Grace enters delirium and starts playing with her wound, her blood and the knife hilt. She gets weaker and weaker before she coughs up blood and quietly dies just as the ambulance arrives.
