UPDATE: Separating blood-gore content from asphyxia films

Hi everyone,

So recently I ask you all whether or not I should separate the blood-gore stuff from the asphyxia content. Here's a link to the poll and the results ...

https://www.patreon.com/posts/should-i-blood-82842653

The results were pretty conclusive, but I should probably qualify that and say that only about a third of patrons actually voted.

I did also run the same poll via email to all the former patrons and Gumroad fans - and the results were similar.

So it is something I want to explore further as I think both sets of fans will get a better experience from having channels that are focussed on their interests.

I'm currently thinking about the best way to do it. I've a lot to consider such as ...

I have a lot to think about - and whatever I decide will result in quite a chunk of work to get it all up and running. So it's not going to be a quick process, I think is the point I'm trying to make :D

I will keep you updated with everything as I go.

Thanks, Dan

Thanks for your input Ron

I don't think you should make a second Patreon, but break it down into stages in your existing Patreon. If you then want to make an outline, it will definitely take less effort. In addition, you should definitely continue to make it possible for there to be a variant where all new films can be obtained. Also, I don't think there will be many people who like the idea of having to buy a second subscription. That's why it would certainly be easier to split it up differently in the existing Patreon and adjust the payment options.
