There’s no reason and no way I could ever consent to my child being unalived. You are emotionally and physically wired to protect your child, so I completely understand Joel. Save the world or save your child? For a parent there is no question.

Trigcity

Lying and killing the way he did was not ok but he wanted her to have a life to actually live and he loved her truly. And it seams like in some way he wanted to be a better father

Shakira Cordero

Yes I would do the same thing as Joel.

Shakira Cordero

Ellie didn't have a dad, that's why Joel was so special to her. He was her dad.

Holly (Taylor Smith)

Allysha

BTS was dope

Carlo

I’m not letting my adopted Jit who brought life back to me go.. charge it to the game

Carlo

You should check out New Rockstars on YouTube, they break everything down for you in such a detailed way.. I think you would enjoy it

JaziTeee

He does. He also sounds like the actor that played the police Sargent in Bad Boys, but I thought that actor passed away. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Jen M

Michonne’s something. 👀 😂

Jen M

My boy, Lalo, is in this episode! 🔥 #iykyk

I don't think it was that she 'didn't care', it think it was just that she felt that Gail deserved the truth and was tired if Joel's lies and he knew that which is why he wasn't upset that she called him out. He knew he was wrong. He shouldn't have agreed to Eugene's idea but if he was planning on ending him, he shouldn't have lied about that and promised otherwise, hence why he knew that Ellie was justified in what she did. Also, it wasn't disloyalty when she never agreed with or was ok with what he did. He was disloyal to her, not the other way around. Either way, I was fine with him ending Eugene's life then and there, I just wish he didn't lie to both of them about his intentions.

Dina was ready to shoot down Ellie on the spot. That's the rule. We saw it when Jackson was overrun and one of the infected townspeople - who had not yet turned - handed his gun over and was shot in the head. There was no waiting. No goodbyes. Joel's problem was agreeing to Ellie's demand that he break the rules! And the disloyalty of Ellie when she ratted him out? Joel should have been done with her right there. She did NOT care about how it would affect Gail. So mad.

EliG

And yes I would do what Joel did. Call me selfish 🤷🏾‍♀️.

Keke

Bella Ramsey is 21 almost 22 years old.

Keke

This episode had me really emotional the way he looks at her with so much fatherly love he couldn't save his daughter and he had to leave her on the road that was heartbreaking all the things he did for her birthdays was just beautiful I like you said Addison he couldn't lose another daughter ❤️

Queen S

Same here 😭

Queen S

YES

Ellie says cure and Joel nods. Is this canon? AND when did "vaccine" become "cure"? A cure from what? What are we talking about? Herding up bloaters and blind clickers with their heads split open and those new sneaky ones and giving them a shot or something that turns them back?! AND who was going to organize, produce and distribute this "cure"?

EliG

Joe Pantoliano, the guy playing Eugene almost sounds like Bill Burr

Fellerz

I think the reason this episode was so good is that it’s so real. The “I hope you do better than me” line from both Joel and his dad is so true. I feel like as a parent, we do the best we can, and knowing that we aren’t perfect is what makes it hard, and so I think we all want our kids to do better than we do.

Wushu Jenn

Another thing at some point in your life you have to play the Last of Us games 1 and 2. You seem like a man like me that loves symbolism and character building in shows and games and the show doesn’t do it justice enough. The game will have you talking about it for years like it did many of us

Chris Thames

I wonder how long the finale will be.

Keke

In Joel position with that not being my actual daughter n only being with her for a year YES I WOULD knowing she would of wanted it to. If that was my actual daughter I raised since birth then NO

Chris Thames

I feel like the order I get the more I push how old “kids” are lol

Julius Wolfe

yes.

EliG

I hope the rest of your day is better. 🦋

Carrie Petty

Yes, I would have done what Joel did. I just, would have.

Carrie Petty

I’d commit war crimes for my hypothetical child

Emma B

Ellie saw fireflies when she looked out into the woods.

EliG

To answer Adisons question would I have saved my kid like Joel saved Ellie. The answer is yes without question.

GrammaGhost

I know you and some others may have missed the post and live chat discussions where I addressed this bit Brandon was out of town this past week and I had to pause reactions on that until he gets back in town today or tomorrow. Those reactions will resume this week. -Adison

Adison Hardyway

What happened to Walking Dead?

Brn934
