I agree with your guys' stance on being a coward, even though I think once can change under the right circumstances. But I'm not sure if I agree with your chance on self deletion. In that moment, Nicholas, screwed Glenn and he should not have don't that right in his face. But I'm not going to mad at someone who deletes themselves (without getting other hurt) in these times, unless you have children or a spouse. Cause someone who is depressed and doesn't want to live anymore, cant fulfill that want, they're probably going to cause harm to others by not caring if they live or die.

I think of the word coward and it is a negative trait a person has. There are many negative traits people can have in a zombie apocalypses situation, someone being narcissistic, arrogant, impulsive, indecisive, selfish, etc. And all these traits I think can also put others in danger. The arrogant or impulsive actions of a character can get someone killed as well, and we've seen it in this show. I study psych and I recently went to a retreat, it talked a lot about our journeys being aware of ourselves and inflicting change. The amount of people who don't really understand themselves is high, you can't expect change without the person being fully aware of themselves. With that being said, it takes a lot of time and practice, support from others helps even more. Glenn was that person for Nicholas, he was determined to make him aware of his actions and how who he is as a person is why people died. Harsh reality, but it is true. Change is hard, but it is not impossible. I did not particularly like Nicholas, but I do think if he had time, support, and the willingness then I think he could have changed that part about him and been a good asset to the group eventually. From Adison's point, a coward, under the right circumstances, can be molded into someone who learns to face certain fears head on instead of choosing flight everytime instead of fight. But from Brandon's point of view, being a coward is, in a way, a personality trait that can be masked so that others would believe that you are no longer a coward, but will show itself in extreme circumstances or situations thats most opportune for the coward like leaving someone for dead when it's just you and them, so noone would know you left them or in Nicholas' case, unaliving himself before finding a solution out of a tough situation. Cowardice was rooted within him. However, Nicholas did not get enough chances to root that cowardice out of him, so I almost dont even want to use him as an example.

I know Glenn wanted to have some faith in Nicolas but being out there with that herd, I wouldn't have trusted him. Heath finally got to see what Michonne was talking about when he saw the blood on his face, is it mine friend or walker's? That guy who just stood there and let the walker chewed his neck off, that's what he gets for coming sideways at Rick. The wolves ran up on the wrong 1. When Noah grabbed Glenn, a swarm of walkers immediately got on Aidan. That’s how close Glenn was to death. Glenn was tunnel vision on saving someone. If it wasn’t for Noah Glenn probably would’ve died there. Glenn believes people can change and they can. Brandon is right tho. Some people require a supernatural force to change.

Nicholas was no different than Lizzy to me, in the way that her distorted beliefs would've cost too many lives before any sort of breakthrough happened...I always wonder 'what if' when it comes to Nicholas and Carol not being informed at all about what he's done before OGsurvival got to Alexandria and since they've been there. I feel like after Noah died, if she had known everything....Nick would've been and had to 'Just look at the flowers'
