These addicts do what they do to escape, now imagine all the higher-ups that abuse children(like Trump, for example. Or for clearer examples, Epstein and Maxwell). And all the people in power that make use of the ones below them. A lot of our societies are just straight cesspools for perverts and that occurs even in religious contexts.

Matter of fact she's the one that taught Jesse how to do an even more hard core drug, heroine. He tried to make her leave before engaging in drug usage and she CHOSE to stay. Sure, he may have been a bad influence, but it's HER fault not HIS. She had personal responsibility in this. Also, she knew how to lay when on the drug and Walt is the one that pushed her over on her back and then just let her die, so he has a part of the blame as well. I can understand if you gave Jesse some PARTIAL blame for being a bad influence on her, but to say it's ALL his fault is denying her responsibility and Walts part in it.

He’s just kinda stupid and impressionable. In his mind he did love that girl, it might’ve been the closest thing he’s had to love. I pity Jesse more than anything but I definitely don’t see him as a bad guy. 🤷🏾♀️ idk…. I wouldn’t invite his shiesty ssa into my house or anything don’t get me wrong lol but I think he’s a decent guy, just misguided

That being said I love these guys reactions just really wish they could have a better outlook on the characters on this show

You guys miss quite a few moments that give context to situations because you're talking about something, or how you hate a character. 2. Please, pleaseee please, have a more in-depth thinking process than "drug addict = terrible human". There's way more nuance to a character like Jessie or even Jane than just a "crackhead" label. Walter is the most sober person on the show and yet he is 1000x worse than Jessie. If that doesn't mean anything to you, just makes you seem very narrow minded. 3. These characters are written incredibly well and they grow throughout the show. I feel like you guys are stuck on initial images of people. No hate, still love watching your reactions but out of all the reactors ive seen do BB over the years, you two have been the harshest on Jessie by far, and Jessie is such a kind hearted character, it really boggles my mind that you feel the way you feel about him. #Justice4Jessie

Walter knows what kind of person Jessie is and exploits that, he did not kill or get Jane hooked. SHE was a crackhead on her own and got HIM doing dope. He asked her to leave and was honest with her about it because he really liked her, he didn't know she was a weak a** btch and would fold instantly. That's on her not him, not only that she was giving him terrribleeeeee advice regarding Walt and the money because again, she was a junkie. I don't think Jessie is a bad person, I just think he was misguided, used and manipulated at every turn. Jane showed that she had flaws too and wouldn't give up on him that's why he "loved" her in such a short amount of time.

If Walter hadn’t let her go then chances are Jesse and her would’ve overdosed together later on instead. Jesse said that she should leave because he’s going to do drugs and she had the opportunity to walk out and almost did but didn’t despite her being 18 months clean(as shown on her recovery coin in the episode Phoenix), she was the one who decided to introduce him to heroin, She was also the one who came up with the blackmail idea which in turn led to her and Jesse choosing that they should do drugs that night with the money. Did she fall on her back from Walter shaking Jesse? Yes, however if she didn’t do drugs, that wouldn’t have been a problem and if anything it could’ve happened without Walter even being there. Jesse even gave a look of guilt when she broke her sobriety despite him at least informing her so she could leave where others would invite or probably not even care yet he did. So all Walter did is prevent Jesse from suffering, the same fate in no doubt a messed up way but still saved his life and even put the man in rehab. Jane died because of Jane being a drug addict who was using Jesse (another drug addict) for her own drug money benefit because she herself even pointed out to Jesse that she knows he’s a drug dealer or at least involved with drugs and was told by him that he’s “owed $500,000”. So if anything, it’s kind of tragic because Jesse blames himself for something Walter let happen because if he didn’t, they both would’ve died in the future from an overdose but didn’t all because Walter just had a conversation with Jane’s dad who told him to never giving up on family. Don’t get me wrong either, I believe they both loved each other, but I believe drugs became the priority for both of them when she introduced him to heroin, and he told her about the money and then their relationship became second. This goes right back to the butterfly effect. Her choices are what led to her death and that was the point of the scene of her going to group with her dad in the episode Phoenix. The guy saying “all it takes is that one friend to bring you back into it” and the emphasis on the fact you have to be better than that and know who to stay away from because she could’ve evicted Jesse for breaking the no drugs rule but didn’t because she loved him but also saw him as a direct line for drugs and money for different drugs. She could’ve even reported him to the police because he casually kept his bong and meth pipe out but still she didn’t. She even prevented her own father from calling the cops on both of them so if anything, it’s on Walter and Jane or it’s just on Jane.

Not all people struggling with addiction deserve hate. 50% of homeless people are kids that aged out of the foster system. It’s not always as it seems. Get a grip fellas. Jessie is one of the few good hearted people in this show. If Walt is breaking bad, Jessie is doing the opposite, Walt is devolving, Jessie is evolving.

They would've had a lot of off-screen conversations with each other prior to this. I think Jesse not answering those questions was just respect for her father in the room who is going to be the one who should speak on it in such a situation.

Walter letting Jane die, led to her father being so overcome with grief that when he returned to work, he was so stressed out that he caused the plane crash. Can’t wait for you guys to start season three cause that’s when the show really gets going. Also, every episode with those openings from beginning to end of the season say “Seven Thirty-Seven” “Down” “Over” “ABQ”.

And then the contrast of how Walt had gained a new daughter while Jane’s dad just lost one. The dress he picked out for Jane laying across the bed then Walt’s baby girl laying on the bed. And those two dads had just met too (at the bar) and discussed being fathers! These types of things is why this show is so good!!! Excellent points about the domino effects of the things people do affecting so many others. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

We knew he was an addict, And Walt black mailed him and always belittled him every chance he got. Walt is a terrible person fasho, but Jesse isn’t that bad.. he’s trying his hardest to be better and this death clearly was too much for him, he spiraled out

It's not just disliking Jesse it feels straight up hateful. You gotta show more nuance in the analysis, jesse, walt, skyler, saul, they aren't all good or all bad, they are complicated, nuanced. It's really not a black and white thing. Jesse is one of the only better people in this entire show, and you guys hating on him is wild. I have loved ones that have struggled with addiction and they aren't all awful people but you seem to really hate them with a passion.
