TWD is my favorite so other than reliving Glenn and Abraham offing by Lucille and Negan rewatching the show with you all has been great. Now the last few episodes the conversations during the show dialog has been a bit much. Pausing after the dialog to discuss or quick short comments during maybe better. I really like your discussions but I feel you may be missing critical details.

A lot of these comments are low key spoilers-we know what we know bc we've seen the show. I've seen many reactors have the same opinion to just kill Negan. I actually hope they don't look at too many comments, or start to have a mod filter through and show them the ones that are safe. Let them watch and lets comment on the current knowledge available!

What i have seen so far, makes rick one of the greatest characters in this show, and more of a man then all the others in this show. Because rick is really willing to do anything and everything to protect his people, that doesnt just mean killing people but accepting any humiliation to keep his people and kids alive. Even willing to accept another man's child. What these episodes have shown me, is that rick through everything protects his people. I don't see him as a sucker at all, if rick crashed out or showed any conflict with negan, more of his people would have died. Rick is literally doing what a man should, protecting his people.

I think Rick gave the gun to Negan to let him know yeah I hear you bcuz he didn't want to see anyone else get killed. Also that deer Michonne hit it on accident, the walker didn't touch it at all. And Negan burn the beds bcuz he's mean and petty and just to show he can. Which mad Michonne angry bcuz they didn't have too. If Spencer was in charge he would have been another Gregory just rolling over when Negan comes by. I think deep down Negan is scared and in awe of Rick, because Rick people follow him with love and loyalty and Negan's people follow him out of fear. Plus he showboats in front of these people on other groups so these men can continue to fear him. One sign of weakness and they pounce on him. Also Rick's Colt Python was taken that night in the clearing, one of his men have it. Also it's been about 3/4 from that fateful night. We're broken right now, and how long shall we stay broken? Bcuz Get Back Must Be Had.

If there's one person out if the mains I trust to not botch a Negan-based mission, it'd be her. She might be too dmart and stealthy for that. And even if she got caught, I feel like she's clever enough to get herself out of it. Remember, she talked hotmess, racist ahh Merle out of turning her over to while she was simply tied up and weapons less, while he went on a kamakazi mission to try and prove himself and save the prison/his brother. The power of intelligence and words are a beautiful thing. This the same woman that jumped out of a whole tree and caught two bodied in like 3 seconds in a 1 v 4 (1 katana vs 4 guns), and STILL got away, shot and all, in season 3 lol. Even if she botched a solo assassination attempt or whatever, they'd still have to catch her to know that it was her who did it, The only real worry and downside I would have if she got caught is the fact that there would be no way Negan wouldn't recognize Michonne from the lineup, and he most likely noted Carl is her weakness because she didn't say a single word or show fear during that whole line up, that was until Carl was about to get the chop, and she finally spoke up to beg and plead with Negan, which means he could use the kid against her to either make her break or crashout (she already lost one son). Negan seems like the type that would want to "tame" Michonne the way he's trying to tame Daryl for his team. She would be harder to break than Dsryl though without the Carl threat imo. Shoot, she might mess around and break Negan instead if he kept her prisoner with just talking and casually getting into his head lol...

2025-07-29 20:39:42 +0000 UTCI feel like it’s not coming across that these soldiers that are , following Negan like this lifestyle they like hurting people they like exploiting people that’s why they’re in the position that they’re in because they’ve sacrifice that part of their humanity to live like they do so if Negan were to be killed right in this instant they would continue on doing things in service of now a martyr, Negan and who knows if not worse than Negan so they have to sit in this uncomfortability until they’re able to either plan a way out or or live under his ruling, but just killing Negan right away isn’t going to stop any violence against their community or the other surrounding communities. If anything it would just enforce more of it to the point of these people’s extinction.

But a good amount would probably join Alexandria. I wouldn’t be surprised if these people are just with Negan because they’re scared or intimidated, or they owe something to him, or he holds a grudge against them.
