Exactly. Skylar handed him divorce papers, he refused and then like she said he "dared her to call the police," she understood exactly what Walt was doing; he knew she wouldn't tell on him because that would destroy their lives publicly. He played dirty on her, so she did it right back and told him outright "we are not married, you're not my husband," now they both got to act like everything cool, see walt was chill before she went to ted now he bitter and miserable openly, that's what he get. I don't know why anyone acts like she cheated, unless you simply don't respect women when they tell you it's over. And if that's the case, don't be mad when they step out on you. You asked for it.

Hank is not locked in when it comes to this case. He has extreme trauma and PTSD from what happened the last time he was in El paso. Not to mention, he felt like an outsider which was extremely uncomfortable. He didn't know anyone, everybody spoke Spanish except him, he was treated like a rookie again. He is using the Heisenberg case as a way of escapism. He is afraid to go back to El Paso, and he's embarrassed that he's afraid. He doesn't know how to handle what he's going through, which is why he lashes out at the people who care about him. Yes, the case means a lot to him, but he's using it as an excuse at this point. When he was in his boss's office, when he was asked if he was going to El Paso tonight, he said the most real thing he has said in a long time. "No, I can't." Then put his walls back up to say, at least not yet.
