Dwight doesn’t deserve a happy ending. He’s been doing cruel crap he didn’t need to do even when Negan would never see it. Sherry agreed to be Negan’s wife to save Dwight, but the Dwight she wanted to save died anyway. She saw old Dwight in Darryl. She took steps to save Darryl since she couldn’t save Dwight. And she did it knowing she wouldn’t survive. And maybe she ended up saving a piece of Dwight after all. That Dr. was a sleezebag.

But on a serious note, I low-key felt super betrayed by his acquiescence to whole Negan camp side switch. I am going to need Eugene to show some kind of loyalty. 2025-08-15 01:47:27 +0000 UTCHi Addison, Brandon and Osafa, Osafa I'm really glad you joined the group as for this episode I'm really not mad at Eugene right now for what he's doing he wants to stay alive for what I am disappointed in him is after he told that lie to Abraham and everybody else our group still accepted him and kept him safe kept him fed Rick probably didn't use a lot of Eugene's talents but he became a part of our group and Dwight lieing on the doctor so Negan wouldn't go after Sherry I got mixed feelings about Dwight I hate what he did to Daryl but I think he just wanted to survive too.

2025-08-14 23:39:15 +0000 UTCI'm surprised you took Sherry leaving as cowardness or selfishness. I always saw it as she was removing herself so Negan had less leverage on Dwight giving him the freedom to change without Negan being able to threaten him with Sherry's life.

I think Negan was actually going to let the doctor go... until he looked up at Eugene.... he didn't want Eugene to see him being forgiving... I think he decided to kill the doctor in that moment to add a bit of extra fear into Eugene. It worked too... it was because of that he didn't give those pills to the girls.

But now that she sees how it turned out she is blaming herself. She left because she let Daryl out... she let Daryl out so Dwight could go on being a 'Negan' without guilt or conscious believing there is no turning back for him now that he has killed someone... there is nothing selfish or cowardly about what Sherry did, before or after. They were BOTH doing what they believed they had to do to keep each other safe. They sacrificed for each other.

He’s very intelligent, which I find to be an attractive attribute of his character and men in general. Prior to the apocalypse, he probably was an outcast for this exact reason, so he never was able to experience healthy romantic interactions with women 🤔.

2025-08-14 21:41:08 +0000 UTCI mean, like a Negan basically asked Eugene if Rick ever really utilized Eugene's genius, and Eugene's non-answer basically told Negan everything he needed to know. No, Rick never really used Eugene's smarts or seemed to see it as thr big assest that it truly is. In fact, Eugene is probably considered low tier in Alexandria, even against some of the "native" Alexandrians. Gabriel is more respected than Eugene. The only real friend he probably has there is Tara. Abraham was murdered right in front of him. Rosita just absolutely dogged and bullied the mess out of him so bad to basically guilt to make her an ill-advised bullet that literally led up to him getting snatched and put in the position he's in under tge watchful eye of the enemy. He even stepped up and admitted that he was the one who made the bullet at the high risk of losing his own life so no one else's theirs(which he literally warned her that which was Olivia & Eugene). Only to end up here getting praised and appreciated for his gifts and we what he can truly offer to make their lives better. Something our group never really truly did, if we're being real about it(Granted, some of that, but I feel like Eugene was partially right when he felt like that the only reason people would care and help him for as long as they did was because they thought of him as having value to something bigger, hence the lie). Negan, tge man hinself is putting this man on a pedestal, proba ky in a way he's never received before, even probably BEFORE the apcocalypse. The man got some fresh pickles. Eugene's about to be out here singing, 🎵Feeling really unappreciated. Taking my love for granted, baby🎵 😆😭...
