Project Horror and YouTube

I've been thinking about what I post of YouTube etc and have decided to post much much less. I've been posting quite a bit over on YouTube to get my numbers up - mainly because YouTube unlocks a bunch of cool functions once you get over a certain number of subscribers and view minutes. But I've unlocked all the features I need, so I'm going to ease off.
YouTube is and always will be a really important platform in terms of attracting new patrons. I'm sure the overwhelming majority of you became patrons after finding my work on YouTube. There's always a push and pull between how much to release on YouTube and what to keep exclusive for patrons.
Until recently, I've posted a film on Patreon and then a week or two later I've posted an edited down version on YouTube. I've also posted teaser trailers on YouTube as well.
Anyways, long story short, I'm only going to release teaser trailers on YouTube for the foreseeable future. I'm hoping this will lead to more patrons, which means more budget and more blood, guts and gore. It will also deliver more value for patrons and will hopefully give patrons more reasons to stick around.
YouTube remains essential to Project Horror, not only in terms of marketing, but it's also a major factor in recruiting actors and models.

Yeah, that’s a really good idea about posting films on YouTube after a few months. Some of the films deserve a wider audience and I know the performers appreciate having something they can link to etc. And I still think it delivers value and exclusivity for patrons. Great idea - thanks man 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

I think that trailers is fine for attracting support and it does make Patreon support feel more value. Maybe think about posting an editing down version of a film from time to time, but an older one, say a month or two old. Maybe once a month. Just to entice a little more on YouTube?
