Amber and Roxie are two of my oldest model friends - I've been working with them for about ten years now. They are literally up for anything and are so much fun. Anyways, I finished a shoot the other night and they were bored so popped by the studio. I finally got to try out an fx method for throwing an axe into someone. I say fx, it's more camera trickery to be honest.
The axe in the chest has a bit of a wobble, which I can fix the next time, but other than that I'm pretty happy for a first try. What do you think?

From a camera point of view, it works with anything that can be thrown. The big difference is the rig on the actor at the other end. Rigging an embedded weapon to an actor through clothes is - relatively speaking - much harder than embedding it to someone's bare flesh. Mainly because you can't use duct tape 😂😂😂😂
