Tell me more about being Wounded - an open thread
Added 2020-07-22 13:55:21 +0000 UTCSo I started a poll running at the start of the week, breaking down the various stages of a typical film and asking people to vote for the elements that are important to them.
If you've not taken part in the poll yet, just click here
One of the most popular elements was WOUNDED - so the period of time between the initial attack and the person becoming immobile and starting their death throes.
I've done some extended WOUNDED scenes in Rookie Mistake, No Way Out, and Things Go South For Mitzy North. They explore the ideas of people wounded and trying to continue their mission, or trying to escape/survive.
Is there anything else I could be exploring in this section of my films? Feel free to spam the thread with ideas - either specific or general.

Love these polls/open ended questions. Everyone has great ideas and it’s great to see you trying to incorporate certain things. Would love to see a wounding via bullet to the foot and the actress struggling to escape ultimately unable to escape being popped with a few more. Also love the idea of her calling out on the radio/phone what’s happened to her, where she’s hit, how badly it hurts, etc etc. Thanks for all you do!!
