This film is one of my most brutal and features an amazing central performance from Kayleigh. She plays Detective Jennifer Barnes, a young officer at Humber City PD. It's the 70s, so many of her law enforcement colleagues just see her as a glorified secretary. Every day she's asked to fetch sandwiches and make coffee, with every day pushing her closer and closer to the edge. Feeling frustrated and overlooked, when a call comes in about some suspicious activity, she thinks better of telling her captain about it - instead, she grabs her gun and goes to investigate, hoping she can prove herself.

It does not go well.

Deadly Ambition 2 is more of a spiritual sequel to Deadly Ambition - https://www.patreon.com/posts/37982438 - then an actual sequel, in that it has a very similar theme.

This film features a long stabbing with many knife twists and flowing blood, a great turn from Kayleigh's boyfriend as the killer who tortures her open belly with cruel indifference. It all ends for Kayleigh with her heart being ripped out. Needless to say, there is a lot of blood and gore.

I really enjoyed making this film and it's probably one of the most cinematic films I've released. On a personal note, it was great to get someone else do the killing so I could stick behind the camera and get the best lighting and angles.
