Update on Collections

I have finally finished adding all the content into different collections.

As some of you may remember, Patreon introduced the collection feature late last year.

It's a great feature BUT I did have to sort through over 800 historic posts and manually add each one to its relevant collection. Which is why it's taken me ages. But it's done now - yay!!!

Collections enable me to group together content based on our three main categories of demise - shootings, stabbings, and asphyxia. There is also added a News collection, for general updates and polls etc.

You can navigate to the Collections from the Home page. On both the app and browser, Collections is right next to Home. Just click on that and you'll see all the Collections - then select the ones you want.

So inside each Collection you will find teasers, the films, and the download links relating to each category. You'll also find any news or polls that relates to that method of death. Think of a Collection as a huge envelope into which anything and everything related to either shooting, stabbing, or asphyxia.

Once inside a collection, you can use various filters to make your browsing even more efficient. You can filter by YEAR, which is great if you want to remind yourself of older content or you are new and you want to work your way through the years and years of content.

You can also filter by TIER, so you can see only the posts that you can access. And you can also filter by TYPE, so if you choose VIDEO you would only see the videos available to stream and not the associated teaser picture posts.

In terms of navigation, I think this is a great step forward and will improve the scrolling experience for fans. As you know, I have been concerned for a while that fans have distinct interests and have to scroll post a lot of content that's not to their taste to find the stuff that hits the mark.
