After calling her editor about the big corruption case she's been working on, an assassin enters her apartment. He sneaks up behind her, tightening a garrotte in his hands.
His attack is swift and sudden, with the garrotte tightening around Kasey's bare neck. The woman reporter thrashes around in her seat, desperately trying to break free as she is choked by the strangler.
The woman struggles to breathe as the assassin chokes her, the garrotte tightening around her throat. Her eyes bulge and her tongue lolls from her mouth as she gasps for air. In the struggle, Kasey manages to butt heads with the goon, stunning him for a moment. She seizes the chance to make a break for it, but the hitman soon catches her and pulls her back on to the sofa.
He wraps his bare hands around her bare neck and squeezes hard. As much as Kasey thrashes around, she cannot break free from the killer's grip as she is choked and strangled.
Kasey's eyes bulge as death closes in on her, slowly dying by being choked and strangled. As death finally takes her, Kasey slumps, eyes wide open, tongue slightly protruding - another victim of the corrupt city.
