I can’t remember if I had said this already, but I’ve been working on a Greek inspired dnd setting (a seperate continent but still in the same world as cor’nora so Raff and Birdie could go hehe) that is both an Oc land but also a setting for my dnd players ;)
Bevel bounces around with Carmine as she makes masterwork deliveries, and gets a series of mentors. I’m still debating his pursuit of knighthood, originally it was pure intentions, but I am wondering if maybe he’s doing it to get a title ? He was kicked from court and his family, so I guess it depends on how repentant he is for his… past behavior. Bevel was never a bad guy buuuuuut…. Def not the most upstanding, but he considered himself upstanding, you see what I mean? Like didn’t see the problem until too late? Living to bang dwarven maidens, smooze nobles, and party was a sobering realization. Now he’s just horny but doing his best to live a ‘better life’….
Kallista becomes his last mentor/is part of his permanent group so he has a lot of sobering/emotional realities of what it means to be a knight, good and bad… bevel and Raff are kinda inverse of each other.
