Lore bits : "mana galvanism" happens when a mage absorbs large quantity of mana, to the point it starts altering the mage's body and mind. While it grants immense power, such transformations usually meet terrible ends, such as the body and soul collapsing into pure energy and becoming an elemental spirit, or making the transformation permanent. Obviously, such practice is strictly forbidden.
