This is a joke, but is the system ugh.

For context, I'll explain what happened. Then, on August 1st to 5th, Patreon suffered an international bug that the moment you clicked to withdraw money, the money went to the account, but somehow that money still stayed on Patreon.

Therefore, many content creators [including me] clicked several times to withdraw money, and ended up receiving an amount they shouldn't have.

This was a problem with Patreon itself, so now, Patreon is charging this money back, and I will only be able to receive future payments when I reach that estimated amount, which will probably take 2 months of my Patreon to reach.

Ugh. Firstly, I look at the moral views here, I'm wrong, but at the same time, I'm wrong because of Patreon's mistake, it's not like I greedily click to receive an amount that isn't owed to me.

I clicked to withdraw the money, and when the Patreon message said "withdrawal invalid" I clicked again.

This 'invalid withdrawal' message meant that the money had already gone to the account, but when I saw the balance + the amount I withdrew on Patreon, I thought that didn't happen.

So I clicked that shit button three times, and the value ended up accumulating, now I'm in debt to Patreon, this shit is a complete joke, and a security failure from a multi-billion dollar company.

This has not only affected me but also several other content creators I know, and now they are dealing with the issue.

I insist that any money I receive from Patreon is EXCLUSIVE to improve the quality of the novel, with high quality art and images.
