Whenever I feel like I need to cry or be reminded that I am of value I watch Black is King. I watched so many times during the pandemic.

I've always been a casual Beyonce listener since the original 4 Destiny's Child days in the late 90s but I became a full-fledged Beyhive member after watching this over and over on Netflix. I have seen Bey in concert 4 times so far (OTR I & II, Formation Tour, and Renaissance Tour) and every single time was a new experience. You think she puts detail in her music? The visuals and transitions are equally amazing. You have to see her if you ever get the opportunity. If I could only go to one artists concerts for the rest of my life it would be hers. Also, when she did the part with the super deep voice. Its a music style called chopped and screwed. It originated in Houston so I see why she included it. I dont live far from there and grew up with the music my whole life. She really put so much detail into showing out culture. As a black woman who has most of my family as HBCU alums, I have to try not to cry everytime I watch this.

I vividly remember how loud the stadium was, especially when she brought Megan Thee Stallion out!! Hopefully the Renaissance Tour film will be put on streaming some day so you can watch it and also fingers crossed that you get tour tickets to see her in the near future, it's unlike anything else
