Coco Jones was a Disney star, yes, but she was out of the public eye for some time after that because the entertainment industry is fickle and racist/colorist. However, in 2020 after making a YouTube video talking about her issues with the industry, things finally started picking up for her again. She got cast in the remake of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air show that airs on Peacock. She started releasing music again and as you said she's been making moves in the R&B space now. I am so happy that she's finally beginning to get the recognition she deserves. Coco is a born entertainer!! She can act, sing, and dance and has charisma for days. She reminds me of Keke Palmer in that way. Some other music videos you can check out by her are "ICU", "Here We Go (Uh Oh)" "Double Back" and "Caliber" All of those except "Here We go (Uh Oh) are on her debut studio EP called "What I Didn't Tell You" and I HIGHLY suggest checking out this project because, for me, it is the R&B that I feel we have been missing for YEARS. Now this isn't relevant to her music but I think Coco has an incredible personality that deserves to be acknowledged. Terrell is an internet personality who's worked in media/entertainment for years and a while back he decided to create his own YouTube celebrity singer interview show. Coco and Terrell weren't friends during their initial interview but afterward, they became best friends and went on to do 2 seasons of a YouTube variety show together called "T and Coco" which is also up on Terrell's YouTube channel. I mention it because I think the energy and comfort in these interviews/shows really allows you to see Coco just relaxed and having a good time and you can see that authenticity in her personality. Also, I just love her speaking voice. Excited to see more of your journey with her!
