Women who have survived sexual assault. Women that for YEARS refused to touch their own bodies due to trauma. Women who are at war with their minds/bodies due to being assaulted. Women that, for years, believed that they were "disgusting" & "dirty" due to emotion and mental abuse.
One of my clients sent me this.... "He took away my energy, my time, my safety, my intimacy, my confidence, my own voice... Until now. I am taking it back."
I share a lot of surface stuff but these shoots are SOOOOOO much more than the photos.
And it is always truly such an honour to be a small positive part of these women stories. <3
