Peerless Lust update 0.41 Sneak Peek 3 and very important info

Hey everyone...

So the update is late again, and I really hate being late, especially after prolonging it for so long. I really hoped to get it out this weekend, and everything was going well —already uploading it — but just a moment ago I found a quite big bug in the code. I was already working on the 0.42 update a bit while uploading 0.41. So to put it simply, I have to upload it again from the beginning, after making the fixes in 0.41...

Also, I have been struggling recently with health and private life issues. I don't really want to write about it, but I also don't want to hide it or keep you in the dark anymore, when pretending everything is fine, when it is not. I have been struggling for about a year now. I tried to keep working on a game. However, it became tough to pay attention to everything, as I still have my normal job, family, and just regular life problems, and now my private problems are eating my time and mental energy completly. I really hate writing things like this tbh. I am not excusing myself; I made the same mistake again, not wanting to fail anyone, and I took on too much on myself.

What does it mean for the game? First of all, NO, I am NOT abandoning it or disappearing, and you will get the update this month 100% as it is ready. (I hope the sneak peeks will reassure you, but I will understand if you have doubts.) I would have them too, by how much I've been fucking up for a long time now with this project.)

As I said, I am not abandoning the game. Still, there is a possibility I will have to take a more extended break from it in the near future (If this happens, I plan to pause the billing cycle on Patreon for the period of my break, so even if you don't cancel your membership you still won't be charged anything and I will inform about it everywhere I can, at least a month before it. BUT This is still the worst-case scenario, and it is not yet certain.

So what about the better scenarios? I want to release four updates this year (0.41, 42, 43, 44). For 3 months (September, October, November), there should be an update, and one bonus for the delays, and as an apology (in December).

I know this message may be a bit chaotic, but I really needed to get it out of my chest. The moment I found that bug in the code and realized I would have to fix it and upload the update again from zero, I think I just stared at the code for a minute or two...

Anyway, all I can do now is to start uploading it (again recruiting my friend for help if it will be needed) and then... continue to work on the game, for as long as people are willing to play it :D

So...

Cheerss Everyone ^^

and Sorry

I had my setup checked a few times; it is all ok. The problem comes from where I live: I live in a quite rural region, in a kind of valley, surrounded by forests and hills, with the nearest city quite far away.

I didn't find any option like this.

As long as you keep the charges set to when you can post an update I’m ok with it as for some of your internet issues I don’t know where you are in the world so I don’t know if better options exist for you but in past conversations you mentioned speeds in the kbs witch makes me wonder about your set up like is your computer hardwired is you internet dsl, cable, satellite, or cellular I don’t mind troubleshooting with you I do work as an internet technician and might be able to give advice

Does Patreon still have the function where you only charge when a new version is posted? That could help both the issue of people paying during hiatuses, and also make it so requests are effectively limited per person per update, which would help workload
