Big Sister Melody! (Ea)(TG-Empress)

TG-Empress request for 12Animefan21

Stefanie was packing her bags slowly for a trip she has to take this weekend for work. It was super important and she’d miss it or she’d be fired, but it wasn’t something she could take her daughter Lia along for.

So she was completely nervous about leaving her behind for the first time, not just because she was Lia’s mother, but because both of them are Aetherpaws, a race of magical cat-like beings capable of great feats of magic, and in the modern day, completely hidden from the public with said magic.

Stefanie had mastered both magic and her ability over it, but Lia was still young, and she hadn’t quite figured out how to fully control her magic. So Stefanie was reluctant to leave Lia for such a long time, never mind leaving her at all.

However, Lia said she could handle it, and she’d keep focused the whole time her mother was gone. So that way she doesn’t accidentally use magic or remove the spell that makes her ears and tail invisible to humans.

As Stefanie zipped up her bag, the doorbell rang. Stefanie looks up and sighs. “Lia, that should be Christian; why don’t you go get the door for him?” Lia looks up at her mother and smiles. “Christian!” She yells as she runs towards the door.

Stefanie smiled and shook her head. “At least she’ll be in good hands. Christian’s a good kid and very responsible, so even if Lia uses her magic, I know he’ll keep our secret and not panic.” Christian and Lia come back in.

Christian sees Stefanie and smiles. “Morning Miss…” Stefanie puts up her hand and looks annoyed. “How many times do I need to tell you, Christian? Stefanie is fine; I mean, we’ve been neighbors for five years, plus it makes me feel so old when you say it.”

Christian lets out an awkward laugh. “Right, sorry, I always forget,” he says while rubbing the back of his head. Stefanie sighs and shakes her head. “I suppose it’s not your fault; you’re a respectful young man by nature, which is a good thing.”

Christian smiles and it’s clear he was happy for the compliment. Stefanie was about to chat with him some more, but suddenly her smartwatch started beeping. “Seems it’s time for me to go.” Stefanie kneels down and pulls Lia in close for a hug.

“Bye, sweetie, be good.” Stefanie says it loud enough for Christian to hear, but then she whispers into Lia’s ear. “Sweetheart, be good and watch your magic.” Lia smiles and nods, then Stefanie stands up and looks at Christian.

“Thank you for being so kind and looking after my angel. I'll be back as soon as I can.” Christian nods. “It’s my pleasure! Don’t worry one bit; I’ll take great care of her. You enjoy your trip and stay safe during your travels.”

With that, Stefanie left the house, leaving Christian and Lia in the living room. Christian looks down at Lia and smiles. “Let’s have some fun.” A big smile appears on Lia’s face. “Yes!!! This is going to be the best weekend ever!!!”

Lia yelled as she ran around in a circle. Once she calmed down, the two of them went to the living room and played Lia’s favorite board games until it was time for lunch, which was when Lia wanted to have a tea party.

So Christian prepped some sandwiches and cut them into fancy triangles with no crust, then poured some juice into the teapot. He then brought them all over to Lia’s small table and sat down with her and her teddy bear.

It was a pleasant tea party, and Lia pretended to be the princess while her teddy bear was a noble from the land of Fluffyburge. Christian, on the other hand, played a few characters, one being the servant that poured the tea and another being a random prince.

The day continues with Lia getting to do all her favorite things; after a couple hours it was mid afternoon and Lia was a bit tired and watching cartoons on the television while chatting to Christian about things that interested her.

Then suddenly she got quiet. Christian noticed and looked over at her. “You okay Lia?” Lia looked bummed out. “I guess… but I just realized I know nothing about you, yet I’ve told you almost everything about me.”

Christian tilted his head. “Is that what’s bothering you? I mean, I don’t mind that, but if you want to know something, feel free to ask.” Lia suddenly perked back up and started thinking. “Oh! I got it; tell me about your family.”

Christian smiles and looks up at the ceiling. “Oh my family, it’s quite big. I have a mother and father and four siblings, two of whom are boys and two of whom are girls, all of them older than I am.” Lia hears that and suddenly gets so sad she has tears in her eyes.

“I wish I had a sister… then we could do so many girly things together…” she says as the tears start flowing. Christian gulped and had no idea what to do. So he just pulled her in close and hugged her. “Don’t worry, if you wish hard enough, anything can come true.”

Lia stops crying and wipes her tears. “Perhaps you’re right…” Lia then closes her eyes and hopes with all her might for her wish of a big sister to come true. That’s when she accidentally unleashed her magic, and it went right into Christian.

After trying for a minute, Lia sighed and let go of Christian. “I suppose it won’t happen right away…” Lia said as she looked down disappointed. Christian was about to tell her not to let it bum her out, but something caught Christian’s eye before she started speaking.

“Hey Lia? When did you put on fake cat ears and a fake cat tail?” Lia was confused and reached her hands up to her actual ears. “Fake? WAIT! YOU CAN SEE MY EARS!” Lia yelled as she looked at Christian.

Lia then suddenly looked like she had seen a ghost. “Uh oh… I’m going to be in so much trouble…” Christian was very confused. “Trouble? Why? What happened… also, is your tail moving on its own? What’s going on?” Christian said, getting more confused by the moment.

Lia gulped and let out an awkward laugh. “Well… My wish came true…” Christian was even more confused. “Your wish for a sister? But no one other than the two of us are here and I’m not exactly sister material…”

Lia got silent for a moment. “Maybe I should just show you; we’ll go to my mother’s room since you’ll need to change into something that fits you better.” Lia grabs Christian’s hand and begins to pull her towards Stefanie’s room.

Suddenly Christian noticed her body felt different, with one area being very heavy. “Wait… Lia… I think something is wrong with me…” Christian tried to tell her, but Lia just continued to drag Christian to the room.

Once they were inside, Lia brought Christian right to the mirror. “Well, have a look… You’re now my big sis…” Christian looked into the mirror and then loudly gasped. “Is that… is that really me?” She said as she looked over herself.

Lia was right; Christian was a girl now. She now had long purple hair, a very beautiful body, and, strangely, a pair of cat ears and a matching tail. “How… How is this possible? Why do I have cat ears and a tail… wait, Lia, why do you have them as well?”

Lia sighed. “Well… it’s because I’m an Aetherpaws, which is a cat-like race capable of using magic… but unlike my mom, I’m not very good at keeping my power in check…” Lia then started to cry. “I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to do this to you… please don’t hate me…”

There was practically a river flowing out of Lia’s eyes and Christian felt bad. She wasn’t hurt in any way, and as embarrassing as it was to be a girl, it was sort of cool to learn magic was real and that special people like Lia and Stefanie exist.

Christian walked over and knelt down, then hugged Lia. “It’s okay. I’m not hurt, and I’m not mad; accidents happen.” Lia hugged Christian back and started crying a bit more, thanking Christian for not being mad at her.

Once Lia stopped crying, Christian stood up. “So Lia… I don’t take it you can change me back?” Lia looked down and started sniffing. “No… I don’t know how… mom might… but we’d have to wait until she gets back home to find out.”

“Alright, that’s fine… It’s only another day… So I guess until she gets home… I’m your big sister, Chris… Melody,” Melody said while looking down at Lia with a smile. Lia’s face lit up and she got so happy. Lia hugged Melody and started laughing.

“This is going to be so much fun, but first, you still need some new clothes. So let’s go raid mom’s closet,” Lia said as she ran towards it. Melody closed her eyes and smiled. She was glad Lia wasn’t upset anymore.

Melody then looked down at herself. It seemed she was going to have quite the interesting weekend but hopefully Stefanie would be able to turn her back when she got home from her trip; if not, big sister Melody will be sticking around.

Comments

Possible, I could see it; as a newly created Stefanie, Melody would likely have less control over her powers than Lia, and it could be fun to see them training together. As well as some sisterly bonding.

Riley

Once again beautifully realized. I love what you do with my ideas. And I can't wait to see what Stefanie says when she gets home. That will be quite interesting. It certainly smells like a sequel.

This is a very interesting story telling about another transformation of Christian into Melody and I really liked it but I had a deeply philosophical question in the ending... Which outcome would be better for her to remain Melody or for her to become Christian again... On the one hand, Lia would be very happy if Melody remained her older sister and it would not be bad for Melody since she would get magic! But on the other hand, Christian has a large and loving seed and it is unlikely that he will agree to leave them forever... This is a very complex and philosophical question and although I have one answer to it, I do not like this option... In theory, he can live a double life and be part of both families, but this option is far from the best and most likely hello to collapse in both families! Maybe you can tell me which path she should choose!?
