It was these strange growths that were the basis and Shikamaru felt how he could interact with them. In an amicable way, even now he had a reserve of natural energy, and he could instantly enter the sage mode. He got this without the mutation, but with it everything changed even more. The mutation is just wonderful! From the build-ups in some of the empty areas, this is just the beginning. Shikamaru not only received new organs for collecting natural energy, but also increased the reserves of natural energy, which can be mixed with chakra at any time without harming the body. Simply put, Shikamaru was already slowly transforming into some kind of creature other than human. He even got an altered sweating system and felt how he could control it and excrete a special fluid. The mutations allowed Shikamaru no longer to fear due to problems with Jūgo, because thanks to the new growths mixed in the body, he gained much more control over the aggressive energy for transformation. It surprised and delighted at the same time!
