Chapter 212

Early the next morning, the defining moment of the last month arrived. Finally, the Sea Devil and the Pirate Empress got married. The celebration turned out to be very grandiose. Dozens of tables filled the huge square, packed to the brim with food and drink. Decorated columns stood around this square, and in the center there was an elevated altar, it was there that the wedding took place.

Hundreds of people drank and had fun. Basically, only pirates were present, hundreds, maybe even their number approached a thousand. Moreover, their ships kept coming and coming ...

The longest one stood at the head of all the tables. It was behind him that all the closest members of the Blood Star team and their friends sat. In the center was a couple of newlyweds. Boa Hancock in a gorgeous white dress and James D. More in an unusual outfit - a suit with a bow tie. Some insisted on putting on their daily cloak over their naked bodies, but they were quickly persuaded.

On this day, Hancock seemed the most beautiful woman in all the seas of this world. Mor accompanied her and always rejoiced with a contented air in the happiness of his newly-made wife.

The dancing and fun continued until the evening, at that moment they finally got married. Amid a thunderous explosion of thousands of fireworks, the two sealed the bonds in a kiss. Nami and Robin looked at each other and hugged each other with a laugh. North drained the bottle of wine in one gulp, and Zoro nodded contentedly as he examined the pair while straightening his annoying tie. He, like the others, was forced to dress up so formally, since the katanas were not taken away. Sanji accompanied Viola and smiled contentedly at his captain. Alia looked at her crying friends and watched James with a slight blush. It was difficult to make out what she was thinking at that moment.

Charlie, accompanied by a couple of beauties, looked towards the captain. On his face one could read respect mixed with admiration. If not for that pirate on the altar, Charlie might never have gone to sea ... Recalling those days and their first meeting, Charlie involuntarily grinned. What were the quiet times.

Sargon and Yong stood in the distance and watched the entire procession from a small hill. The ginger cat slowly licked its paw and watched the procession from the owner's shoulder. Pirates crowded everywhere, but no one dared to make a noise. Everyone just waited quietly. Celebratory lights were burning all around, in the light of the stars and exploding fireworks, Hancock and James continued to kiss ...

All this turned out to be only the beginning, for the wedding of two Emperors one day was definitely not enough.

A perfect wedding night, and then another and another ... The celebration went on for a very long time.

But what's a great wedding without a good fight? For the pirates, for sure ... Therefore, there was no escape from this. North himself wanted to start another scandal with a bunch of annoying captains, but someone got ahead of him ...

After a week of drunkenness, the holiday did not end. Hancock and Mohr once again disappeared somewhere and spent time alone. The holiday flared up even more, someone was rowdy, and someone started a relationship. The area with almost a hundred tables has already changed dramatically. Most of the tables were moved and now there was a real pirate feast. But, at some point, the laughter and hubbub suddenly began to subside. The pirates themselves did not notice how the drop in temperature quickly changed their mood. There were quite a few strong personalities in the audience, so everyone quickly noticed the oddities. Tension grew and most of the gazes immediately rushed to the edge of the square. There was an open area in that place, it was a kind of entrance to this place. It was there that a lonely silhouette now appeared. A tall, dark-skinned man walked slowly in the direction of the crowd of feasting ...

Aokiji!

Who among the pirates of the New World has not heard of him? Who among the pirates of the New World has not seen him in person? Perhaps, of the latter, a minority was present here. The first ones did not exist at all!

One name immediately from a quiet whisper of tense pirates turned into a loud voice.

- Aokiji! - menacingly growled one of the men present. Even among hundreds, he stood out, and from a distance of almost a hundred meters, the man glared at the arriving admiral. Everyone immediately turned their gaze to this man, even Aokiji stopped to take a closer look.

The one who screamed jumped on the table and then everyone saw him. The half-naked man with green glasses looked strong, strong enough to sit here and have the nerve to jump on the table. But that was not important. What mattered was who he was - Rotret, a revolutionary and the closest of the Sea Devil's people.

The moment flew by imperceptibly, in this silence all the pirates only wanted to know why the former admiral suddenly decided to appear in the most dangerous place in this world for him? Why was one of the commanders of the Revolutionary Army looking at him like that? What connected these two? It certainly didn't feel like meeting strangers.

Only, all these thoughts were immediately interrupted by a sudden jerk of Rotret. The table below him shattered to pieces and in just a split second he reached Aokiji. The former admiral widened his eyes in surprise.

- Ro ... - at the same moment both fists collided - an explosion thundered! The earth shot up into the air, and the nearest pirates, along with the tables, flew to the sides. The clinking of dishes and shouts immediately raised even more noise.

- Aokiji! How many years have passed! - Rotret spat angrily, jumping to the side. His hand was shaking a little, unlike his opponent. Kuzan did not even raise an eyebrow, a collision with such an enemy did not seem to him to be something special. He stood in the same place without moving at all.

With a heavy sigh, Rotret took out his katana from its scabbard, at the same moment dozens of ropes broke out of his body like snakes and whirled in the air. They wriggled, twitched and trembled, and showed a desire to rush into battle. There was a feeling as if they were alive and would now rush at the enemy.

Aokiji straightened his backpack and returned his hands to his coat pockets. Then he nodded with a sigh:

- Rotret ... Many years have passed.

- Ho? So do you remember me? - With obvious mockery the man asked: - I was a small patrol then, and Saul ... Do you at least remember him, bastard ?!

Kuzan lowered his head slightly and sighed.

- Do you want to avenge your friend? Shaking his head, Aokiji looked up. “Before, I wouldn't mind that. But now is not the time or place for Rotret. Besides, you are too weak, and I did not come to fight.

At the same time, the pirates crowded around this pair and some of them were already preparing to rush into battle. The admiral dared to break into the Sea Devil's weddings, who would have liked that? Even if he left the patrol, what the hell does it matter? This bastard killed quite a few of their acquaintances and put them in chains at least, and now he also pinned himself here, speaking about his unwillingness to fight?

- Nonsense! Government dog, stop talking shit! Do you think you can overpower us all ?! One of the pirate captains suddenly shouted.
