Been doing a lot of "boilerplate" stuff so far.
The reason why my model edits always look so 'smooth' is because I use a Blender Modifier called "Subdivision Surface" on them. This subdivides every single face on the model (turning each single face into 4 smaller faces) and then smooths them out. It can be quickly turned on/off too so it doesn't slow down the program while working. However, it doesn't work very well with triangle faces. And unfortunately, 99% of models used in video games use triangle faces. So, in order to use to "Subdivision Surface", I have to de-triangulate the whole model which can be very time consuming for complex models (like Zoroark's lol).
I also spent some time editing her body shape. This can involve a lot of subtle changes, but most notably here:
• Fur tufts in front and back of hips have been removed
• Lower legs have been shrunk a little bit
• Upper legs have been expanded a little bit
• Face shape has been rounded out a bit
• She has a butt now
My next few tasks are (in no particular order)...
• Further editing of her body shape
• Editing her eyes into actual geometry, instead of just a texture
• Adding genitals
Let me know what you think so far!
