Stellar Origin Repost
Added 2025-01-26 16:12:27 +0000 UTCA rare example of a nearly 20 year old piece that I'm still quite happy with! I remember putting a lot of effort into this at the time. Somebody asked to see Stellar's origin, so here it is again, plus a commission I did commemorating it 4 years ago.

Some of the figure drawings could be better, but the Spaceship, the alien and the shot of Alex getting zapped I don't think I could improve on. Maybe a special edition?

There's a few things I'd draw differently, and a bit of sloppy shading, but overall I'm still quite proud of it. All done at a time when referencing stuff like spaceships and wrought iron gates was a lot more difficult! No google-image search, Pinterest or Instagram back in 2006. Or at least, if any of those things were around, I wasn't aware of them yet.
