5 Years!

It's been 5 years for me on Patreon, and it's been such a wild ride for me as a creator and just simply as a human being. And so much has changed. But this post isn't just for the sake of being sentimental. There's a lot happening, and I didn't mean for a lot of it to happen so quickly. For that, I apologize. I truly believe that things are changing for a reason, though, and I'm very excited for what's coming. So what's the plan going forward?

• Cloud archive is back, and for now it will be the main way to download my content. This will keep me 100% positive that I am always within platform guidelines and rules. It will also allow me to render newer clips in larger file sizes as necessary.

• All individual posts have been wiped. Why? Too many contradictions in old news posts over the years. Mounds of outdated votes, polls, updates, reposts, incomplete tags, collections, tier changes, previews, and other things contributing to the confusing mess that a new member would be greeted with. Lots of old posts had hardly been viewed in years, meaning almost no one wanted to take the time to actually navigate back that far, including me. After 5 years, it was really a nightmare to go through. Now, the end product is archived and downloadable, and the mess is gone.

• Future posting: From here going forward, individual posts will be more news and update based. Content will be announced and available to download, but will not be attached to the announcement post itself. This will still be the place to come for my content. Star Patron bonus stuff will be dropped just like any other piece of content, but image galleries and other non-video stuff will be downloadable rather than as an image post. Most of the deleted galleries were simply outdated previews for things, but if anything got lost in translation, please request it!

• Tags, Collections: These are basically done. Tiers are still accurate. The content archives are organized in some basic ways. First, by lowest tier access. (For example: Microscope > Live Action > FX) Organization is something I will have to approach differently for now, and ideas are welcome.

• Fetish Language is difficult because it is usually innocuous, but can easily hang a stigma on a piece of content, art, or a creator's name in general. Fetish words will be avoided on this page from today. In an atmosphere where clarity is increasingly demanded of creators, it becomes necessary to make the distinction of what it is that you do and promote. I've always taken the stance of making short horror videos and art that focuses on shrinking. The actors do not show nudity, bodily fluids, or any other sexually vulgar or obscene imagery, and do not engage in any sexual scenarios, period. The only thing sexual about my videos is seeing an actor's feet or other PG-13 style provocation, and my content will not change. Going forward, any comments bringing up sexual violence, pornography, or non-consensual scenarios will be deleted.

• Expanding: I will soon be announcing a partnership with an artist who will help me do some new and different things outside of here. Highly requested things. And this will not interfere with my current content. We are working out the details, and will have an update soon!

• Alternatives: I am investigating some options to improve my content delivery. Possibly including individual sales outside of Patreon, and alternative cloud services.

• Discord Chat: Every tier now has access to a "general" chat and a "help-desk" chat. Of course, I can still receive direct messages on here.

• Actors/Models: Attempting to work with some new, and some I haven't seen in quite a while. This is something I'm putting a lot more effort into lately. I want to increase actor variety past what it is now, and that's the short term goal.

  With all of that out of the way, I'm really focusing on my upcoming summer projects and I'll give updates on those as they come together. Next post will be July stuff.

  Can you believe it's been 5 years? I can't... Thank you all so much for your support over this life-changing journey. Looking back over everything really made me appreciate just how long some of you have had my back, through ups and downs, and I really just want to keep improving and making cool new stuff because of that constant motivation. So I don't know what to say other than thank you to old supporters, new supporters, collaborators, friends old and new, Thank you for 5 years!
