Breaking Down Ricco Harbor | Super Mario Sunshine

Thank you again for your patience! The next video will mark the halfway point for this series, which is a little hard to believe, it feels like we're very much still at the beginning of the game, but then again, Sunshine is paced a little weird.

I think Mario turns and dives away from Bosu Blooper in homage to action movie explosions (aka β€œoutrun the fireball”).

YOU CAN GET OFF THE BLOOPERS?! Before watching this series I really thought I knew everything there was to know about Super Mario Sunshine but over the past four videos I've been learning so much I never ever knew. This has been the freshest Super Mario Sunshine experience I've had since I played the game for the very first time, I really can't praise you enough! I also really appreciate you talking to NPCs and seeing how they evolve over the level episodes. So often when I play a game I've played a lot before I neglect to talk to the NPCs and I really gotta do that more.

Solid work yet again! I don't think I've ever said before, but I love your sense of humour in these, it really shines (pun not intended) thru in your writing! One thing I wanted to note for this level: you actually *can* get the Yoshi into the cage for the Shine in Episode 8, you just have to be really precise about where you place him when you ground-pound into the gate. I've been playing thru the game on my own time lately and I spent a bit of time finagling with that shine in particular. There's a certain spot on the cage where you can place Yoshi where he'll bounce up and down. If you ground-pound into the cage while he's doing that, eventually he'll go thru the grate with you during the ground-pound and you can hop on him and grab the shine!
