Hollow Bastion (Revised) | Kingdom Hearts
Added 2025-09-29 04:51:36 +0000 UTCThere were a couple issues with the Hollow Bastion Video which, regrettably, I didn't catch. Ordinarily I'd let that be that and simply fix things for the YouTube release, but there were enough niggles that I felt the need to post this revision. It's essentially the same video, just with a bit more visual and audio polish, but most notably, the graphical error towards the end of the last boss fight has been fixed, and I've added a bit to the beginning of the Maleficent Dragon fight.
I thank you all for your continued support and feedback. I ought to take this as a lesson that I should never upload a video until I've gotten it proofed, but I also want you all to know that your voices are heard, and this is my favorite part of releasing these to you all in early access. It affords me the opportunity to be a bit more of a perfectionist, to ensure these are the best videos I can make, and if you see anything in the videos you feel could be better, always feel free to let me know!

2025-10-11 07:53:56 +0000 UTCI think something you overlook at the beginning is "maybe darkness has a heart" but I've always read it as Kingdom Hearts isn't pure light or pure darkness, but always exists in equilibrium. A major focus of the series is that dark and light aren't necessarily evil, so much as evil prefers darkness because it's easier to hide in. Even in KHUX. After all, as revealed in KH3, the universe's Grim Reaper, the Lich, is actually a Heartless. I've long thought the Heartless, as they existed before Xehanort created the Emblems, were scavengers that clean up dead and dying worlds. Everything has a finite light, and remembering that the Keyblade are stolen copies of the X-blade is important. Greed and hubris is at the root of all things wrong in KH.

But I think this is also a lesson to not stress your posting deadlines THIS much - I noticed from your video descriptions that you are probably crunching whenever you approach that monthly deadline you've set for yourself. I appreciate that you want to make our Patreon payments worthwhile by being on time, but if you need a few days or a week to give yourself some breathing room you certainly can take it too.

Im hoping to see FFT or Parasite Eve some day too. Id say i wanna see FF7 but theres more than enough of those online already, although yours would probably be top tier
