The Second time we First met

Despara didn’t take her helmet off as she entered the room. She preferred to keep her anonymity as a piece of a greater cause. She looked at the woman with interest as she snarled at her from her kneeling position. She was bound by the wrists to the ground, but she was in no way submitting. She was beautiful, her hair long and wild, her body lean. But the most striking part of her were her eyes, they stepped right out of Despara’s dreams. One was honey gold and the other blue as the deepest ocean.

“Are you a moron? We’re on the same side! You’re going to regret this,” The woman hissed.

“Oh, am I?” Despara said cooly, she couldn’t deny she would delight in seeing this woman in action under closer observations. "You are in chains," Despara needlessly reminded her. The clink of the cuffs the woman was wearing hitting the steel floor was the only warning Despara got to lift her sword and block the sharp talons of her adversary. What a clever Kitten.

“I don’t see any chains,” the beautiful woman growled as she was pushed back. Despara was a little impressed, but she didn’t have time to admire her as the woman lunged again. Despara blocked her as she moved her body weight to force the woman to the ground. The magicat simply sprung away with incredible agility. The woman didn’t even seem bothered by gravity as she leapt off a wall and managed to land a kick to Despara’s helmet, knocking it off to loudly clatter on the ground.

Despara hissed softly in pain but wiped the blood from her lip to prepare for another attack. But it did not come. 

“Adora?” The woman asked in a shaky voice. She stood frozen in place, her eyes wide and her ears back.

“Actually, my name is Despara,” Despara said, lowering her sword to her side but not sheathing it. She needed all the advantages she could get to outpace this woman’s speed if she chose to attack again. The woman’s ears twitched forward at the name, but she frowned deeply.

“Adora, what’s going on? Where have you been?” The woman asked and Despara was getting annoyed. Despara made a shrill whistle and the soldiers outside the door came in. They grabbed Catra who struggled against them, but they were able to overpower her and force her to her knees. Despara walked over to her helmet and picked it up. She looked at the cheap imitation of lord Prime's face which now had a crack across it. Yes, Despara was impressed with this woman.
