As a special Christmas gift to you all, we’ve created an image pack for your viewing pleasure :)
The pack contains three characters - Childhood Friend, Shortcake and a special guest from one of our previous visual novels. ;)
The idea for this story-set was suggested by Jeff Steel, one of our members.

Haha, Well i cant fault you there i love that level of thought process in the works i read and its probably one of the reasons i've gone on a Dots AVN blitz as of late having started on Sunshine, stopped to play all of Melody all the way through and then the rest of Sunshine up to date, followed by DMD as of right now (up to end of ch3) I've often said on various topics tht i see the reappearance of familiar rendered characters and locations, Even on other artists projects as a way of seeing AVN's as a massive expanded universe.. (not just the Dots open universe of characters but beyond that) Where some see the repetition of familiar daz models as a negative i see it as a positive.. in the way you would have that recognition in seeing a named actor or actress in different films by different directors.. Hell i too am falling into this by planning to use Victoria 7 as the lead in something i'm doing despite her being also used in multiple other known projects by others..(if i can ever get studio to stop crashing when trying to load her model up grrr) But long story short.. keep doing what you guys are doing.. ever growing yet maintaining that personal shared universe you have as it is so addictive to play/read and always give that sense of familiarity upon seeing a known face pop up even ifas a cameo role..

About a month before the update came out for that scene, one of our mods made this comment: "Why should anyone care about someone like Martin, we hardly know anything about him?" So that got me thinking about how D and F could ask Martin about his life, his family, what he's interested in. But I wanted to add something more and the topic of character (free stock) models being used in other dev's games also came up in discussion. That gave me the idea of making Martin part of a triplet after seeing his design in other dev's games and even Adult comic strips. So yes, one of the brother's that is referred to is from Acting Lessons, the other is from a game called "Anna Excited Affection" by DeepSleep. I've since chatted with DeepSleep about his characters' cameo and he found it quite amusing. No plans for the other two triplets to feature, they were just mentioned to tell part of a story ;)

2022-01-01 01:12:10 +0000 UTCQuick DMD question.. is Martin's triplet brother who is getting chemo a reference to Acting Lessons (dr pinkcake) i thought i recognised the character build but that kinda triggered a memory of that game.. no clue as to the other triplets mob connection ref tho unless its from something your planning in the future
