We’re about halfway through developing the next update of Sunshine Love, and boy do we have some very special previews to share with you today!
The most recent addition to our small team, Mistress Elemental, is a huge Shortcake fan. Over the past year, he’s learned how to use DAZ studio and has gotten so good that he’s managed to create some new scenes that we will be including in this next update. I hope you like them :)
As you can see from the preview images below, we can see Shortcake getting ready for her big date with you and the fancy restaurant that you will be taking her to.
This is Shortcake like you’ve never seen her before - confident, stylish, and drop-dead stunner! :P
How things unfold between the two of you after your dinner date together is entirely up to you.
Make the right choices and who knows what could happen. ;)
Find out how this storyline proceeds (as well as other girls’ paths) during our very next update. There will be more Shortcake previews before the update gets released :)
We can also confirm that the next update will be released on Saturday, October 29th!

I agree with Jonny. Criticism should always be constructive. Actually the story is very well written IMHO. Yes, there are grammatical errors but it doesn't detract from the story. Some of the artwork does make the girls look too young, but the story is good that they are 18+. Something I noticed in life is that the majority of girls are either blessed with T or A but very few with both. But considering that the MC, S and shortcake all have the same father and both girl's mother's are large chested, it seems a little unusual shortcake lost out. At least she could have her mom's booty. 😆

If you don't like a particular game and story line - then don't waste your time with it or comparing it to others AVN's, simple! If People want a specific AVN to their own liking, then heck, create your own AVN and stop criticizing those actually making it. Either way, keep up the good works MrDots! You have my support. He's 25, worked his way through law school, had an aggressive start to his career. Did a total 180 when he left...was he totally pussy whipped by his girl friend?

2022-10-26 22:05:28 +0000 UTCThere have been some little clues on certain paths that things could become really complicated for the MC if he continues to see more than one girl (see: Trish and Shortcake, Friend and Ashley) and that will be continued on in this next release.

2022-10-23 08:42:10 +0000 UTCMeh, the writing is fine. Not as good as Melody or DPC's work but this is up there with the top VN's. I can count on one hand the VN's I've played that were better then this. All I'd like to see is more story branches and consequences to your choices. The MC can't just mess around with every woman he sees without consequences. The hotel shouldn't play on such a rail either, there should be choices with that too that have consequences good and bad. Overall though I think the story is great so far, but anything can be improved.

I've never claimed to be a great writer - I'm pretty sure I failed English in high school! :D However, what I have compared to most other people who do this kind of work is a great imagination and I still have the enthusiasm to write every single day that I switch my laptop on. Regardless of the fact we've been doing this for nearly six years, I'm still learning every day and I'm aware that there's always room for improvement. MrDots and I have put plans in place now so that when our fourth game is released, the areas in our games that are lacking will be significantly improved. Where I could have changed things previously is the style in which I write, which is a balance of conversations between two or more characters and character thoughts. I have no intention of following that pattern again for Game #4. I'm already looking at completely changing the style while also learning from other successful VNs to see what areas I could do better.

The "novel" part of Visual Novel is just not up to par many other in the genre.. Creators need to take some writing classes. That said, everything else about the game is very good. The concept is good, the visuals are good...I'll see it through because of that.
