Bonus #42: The Revenge of the Truckers

Being a trucker myself I thought y’all’s thoughts on how we operate was pretty funny. I’m sure there are gay truckers but I’ve never seen nor heard of any type of gay code nor have I ever seen a glory hole at any truck stop I’ve been to and I’ve been to some ghetto ass places before. There is however an issue with sex trafficking. In many major cities they have what’s called “lot lizards” which is basically just prostitution in a truck stop parking lot. They’ll walk up to your truck, knock on the window with a coin or something which is really fucking loud inside, and ask if you want company. A lot of these girls are trafficked and at many stops you’ll see in the bathrooms they have signs with a number to call for it and I even have a sticker on my truck with the helpline info. The bit about truckers worrying about self driving trucks is sort of true. They have them in Dallas already but a lot of people seem to think it won’t happen anytime soon but I think otherwise. Also idk where Charlie got the idea we aren’t known for planning ahead when quite literally the entire job is planning ahead lol

You guys really undersold truckers in this one boys. One of the biggest problems in the industry is sex trafficking of underage girls. And Charlie says truckers don't do any planning, that is the majority of the job besides driving, they plan out where they'll take breaks, get fuel, be at the delivery point and picking the next job.
