So on the carson thing I do want to say that the age difference doesnt matter, 17 is still underage and she cant legally consent, also, they were 17 when this came out but according to his friends he has been doing this for well over a year by now and at the beginning those girls were probably 15 or 16, Carson told his friends he had been messaging underage girls early 2020 and promised to stop, for the past year he has been telling everyone that he had stopped and they had been consoling him about it, the reason why they decided to speak out was when they discovered Carson had lied and that he was still messaging the girls while telling his friends he wasn't, and again, 17 or 7 underage is still underage and they cannot legally consent

The month thing isn't me saying im waiting for them to provide proof or evidence, the month thing is just a time frame I usually wait before personally deciding who I feel is in the wrong. With so many of these things within a month something comes out from the accused that changes the whole internet's perspective and they act like they never believed the claims in the first place. The month timeframe is not for them to do anything, but it's for me to decide how I feel on the situation. I only mentioned that to say that I personally think it's too early to call his friends snakes or to decide that carson is completely in the wrong. I think that going on drama alert was a bad move. I think the way jschlatt handled the situation and told his side was the proper way to handle it. He didn't say carson was a pedo or a groomer. He didn't even say be was a bad person. He just voiced that he felt betrayed because he went through so much to help him, just to be lied to. The reason they went public is because they want carson to get help and keeping it private wasn't the right way to go about it anymore. Was it a good idea? I don't know. But I don't think you can call them snakes for being betrayed by their friend. And regardless of the morality of a 19 year old dating a 17 year old, that doesn't matter. The claim is that he owns child porn and is abusing his power to get fans to send him nudes. The first is illegal and the second is morally dubious. End of.

I'm sorry but he was 19 and she was 17, they are both dumb young adults at that age. The chat logs showed no manipulation or use of "Youtube/Twitch" fame or power. Legally he messed up with the nudes but can you really tell me that it's even wrong? Hypothetically; if they were in the same grade in highschool and smashing hoggers then what does it even matter that they had the cringey teen sexts. If you're going to publicly call / insinuate someone is a groomer or pedophile, you don't get to wait a month to provide proof of that. You guys don't really have the gist of the carson situation. Slimecicle, the guy who immediately reported it to the feds, left the lunch club immediately after that. He associated with members, but not carson. Carson himself lied about stopping this behavior. Carson has been doing this stuff as recently as last month. These people have purportedly warned carson prior that of he continues this behavior that they wouldn't be able to associate with him. Also the reason that most of them didn't do anything immediately was because they wer genuinely afraid carson would kill himself because of how low of a place mentally he was in January. Keep in mind this is only what I know from their claims. Personally I am waiting for this to be at least a month old before I make my verdict on it as by that point the full story is out. Edit: dude just watch the video by jschlatt and he explains the situation much better. If you don't have all the information don't assess the situation. I could give less of a shit about your opinion on it. As I've said I don't form mine until a month later, not to give the accusers time, but to give carson time. I just think that you should have all the info before spreading misinformation.
