I have no idea what Andrew was talking about the only complaint I have for the manga is that it has a kinda sketchy art to it. I liked the ending because the story could only go one of a few ways since then introduced a series concluding plot trope. The manga was very little battle shounen Also its unfortunate that all of the official boys to an extent hyper generalize anime as a collection of tropes like all forms of media don't follow the same tropey formula. Star wars is just good vs bad in space and jurassic Park is just what if dinosaur. The medium of the story doesn't make the story any less good and seeing such uninformed takes being discussed as the norm makes their anime discussions pretty shit imo. Anyone who generalized anime Luke that clearly has only watched a handful of anime. Most mainstream abime are that because the general audience can't do anything aside from kaya's approach of " just get to the fighting stop taking yourself seriously " It's no different from the whole Hollywood generalizing animation as for kids. I don't mind the video game hot takes because I can understand their criticism but their anime criticisms are often bs because they over generalize and often expect something that was never promised due to that generalization.

My god I genuinely don’t understand Charlie and andrews point on red dead 2. They say the world is empty which is false, then they change their argument to “oh it’s just between destinations that are empty and it’s boring to go from place to place” that’s what fast travel is for. He complains it’s becoming generic shonen but wants it to be back when they were fighting nameless Titans in a good vs evil battle… which is more shonen then the direction they go on. These guys really need to get over how they refused to enjoy RDR2. I had a good time exploring in that game and finding the hundreds of secrets and interesting locations and events. I just wish the complaints were better than, "there aren't any jets and you don't move like in Doom". Also these guys even like Max Payne 3, but still say that Rockstar can't make a game that's fun to play.

I get why people don’t like RDR2, but I love how realistic it is, the game isn’t anywhere near as buggy as it was during release time when these guys played it

I wonder if andrew and charlie ever played red dead online. Ik charlie played gta online but it seemed just for roleplay. If he actually tried to play online, he’d be bored out of his mind. I played online with my buddies and its the sane shit every time. Spend 2 hours doing set ups for the heist, wait like another hour before you can do the heist, and if youre lucky enough to pull enough money and survive, you’ll get like 10% of what you took. It’s barely worth your time and its like that on Purpose due to the microtransactions.

My view is that Origins and on are amazing games, but horrible assassin's creed games, they are amazing beautiful worlds and i absolutely love how large they are but you are a warrior in them, not an assassin, one massive problem is the leveling system in them, even if you try to play an assassin you cant assassinate people unless you are a higher level than them

I don’t remember any Rezero filler. I felt like every episode was integral to the plot and that it wasn’t one of those anime where you’d be able to skip episodes and follow the story without callbacks to the episode or reading a synopsis. Also, the anime will be caught up to the light novel after this season unless another volume comes out before then, but there’s a ton of content in the webnovel.
