My (most disasterous) journey to Cairns!!

I come to you today tragically from my sick bed π yep, it was going to happen eventually I suppose when you go in enough planes enough times in a short period of time, but damn Iβm feeling particularly unlucky.
This video follows my journey up to Cairns, and the various pitfalls and mini disasters that occurred along the way π From finishing work late, to the planes being delayed, to a go-around being executed by the first plane, to the rainy weather on arriving in Cairns, all topped off by what I thought was a mild head cold turning into a full blown chesty viral infection after getting here π Sometimes luck is just not on your side lol.
Thankfully today, my only plans were βgo to beach, sit on beach, get tanβ, so Iβm going to see how I go this morning and if I feel a bit better Iβll make my way over to Palm Cove for some much needed UV rays and some fresh air (humid as hell though hahaha). Worst case, if I have to stay laid up in bed to heal then so be it, as long as Iβm ok by tomorrow to get to my snorkeling boat trip!

Well shit. The quick progression of that cold is somthing else. Hope ya doing okay ish today and pushing through. Enjoy the beach and the warm weather up there. βΊοΈ camomile tea will help for the throat if you can stomach it too. Get some rest. Looking forward to the next adventure
