Life lately ✨❤️✨

Hellooooo my lovelies!

Sorry for a bit of an extended silence - turns out when you fly back from Australia for the second time, the depression feels of being back get a bit stronger 🙃😭

Leaving Aus again was just… really rough I’m not gonna lie. My heart really feels permanently over there, but at least I have a three week trip planned in March to see it one more time <3 and then, we have to start seriously saving money for the move, so I can’t go gallivanting off over there over summer :’(

But life has been good and hectic since coming back - I dived immediately into a full week of work, got Lance’s stitches out (and he has done magnificently well in his recovery and is now back to his usual goofy self), had a dental crown fitted, and promptly developed shingles 🙃 yeah I suspect I was a bit more run down than expected, and I ended up stuck in bed for a good 3 days?

Then I headed up to Scotland to go to a convention with friends, which was incredibly good fun, and I took absolutely no pictures because I am a lil silly and goofy sometimes 😂

I also doubled up my time there to take the Occupational English Test, an English language test designed around medics. It still feels utterly stupid to take the test at all when I am fluent in English and English only, but I’m a week into the wait for the results, and likely will need to wait another two for them to come back. I’m only worried because you basically need a near perfect score for the Aussie visa, and while I feel I am relatively articulate, the written part of the test is SO specific on what it wants - I just hope it was enough!

I then had a lovely few days at home flogging some items on Vinted, making some craft things and just generally having some much needed down time, before heading back to work tomorrow. It’s an 8 night week this one, and my body I fear is simply not ready hahaha.
