The only thing I have to say about the bonus episodes is I don't really find it interesting to hear stuff that was clearly recorded a long time ago. Kaya talking about his poop story "coming soon", or talking about the only fans stuff that has already had a resolution just isn't as interesting.

The whole thing was a bit of a flop fron start to finish. No need to call out Andrew for what he said, im sure he didn't necessarily mean it in a negative way. He's clearly been trying to do better since then. Honestly I'm more surprised we were informed, lately it seems like patrons are just a bit of an afterthought.

I didn't feel that at all, it is completely understandable to feel fatigue and get a bit burned out. He didn't seem spoiled just disheartened and personally it felt pretty down to earth and honest. The boys reaction to it was nice and made me excited for future episodes as it came to a nice conclusion. On the corner thing, it was fun at first, but it became overused taking over the majority of the episodes leaving little to no room for their normal banter and discussions. It's simply not the case that Andrews corner killed it.

For those talking about the dark subject matter around the Chris Chan thing, that's not what Jackson is referring to. He's referring to Andrew's take towards the end of the episode. I was surprised that part was left in. Him describing the show as, something along the lines of, "a drop in the bucket of the many other things" he does came off incredibly spoiled considering his 25% cut of a 25k a month earning. Andrew's lack of effort in episodes previous and then saying that made myself aggravated towards him. He just did a shitty job at getting the feeling across. I appreciated his increase in effort for the episodes after and it made the show better as a result. I feel listeners are somewhat at fault for this, considering just how much fun the boys were having during the soundboard and corner episodes. Lots of laughs, they brought topics and general show prep. Then, Andrew's corner pops in and suddenly there were too many corners. Either way, he came across as shitty and I get why they removed the episode. If the Chris Chan thing was too dark then some of the other episodes would have definitely been cut already.

If I remember correctly it was just a run down of his arrest rather than their opinions on it. Then they went through a few viewer questions.

I may be wrong, but in a recent episode, he said he wasn't interested in the majority of the topics that were being discussed in most of these episodes and wasn't enthused to record the podcast every week. Can't blame him, once they start talking about pedophilia, I turn off now.

And also andrew around the end was kind of a wet blanket, saying how he feels about the podcast and how he is bored with it. Of course what he said was much more nuanced, but it came off that he was tired of the podcast. Still love Andrew tho ❤😳😏

That's a very fery fair call. The Chris Chan saga is an incredibly rough and real saga that is unpleasant all the way through. I enjoyed the episode in terms of what I learnt but it was one I listened to while actively doing something else because it was quite disturbing to just sit and listen to. Just spitballing here and this is probably not true but it might be because they misgendered Chris Chan? I know that that's a contentious thing but Chris Chan identifies as a woman and taking that away from her because she did something terrible implies that being trans is a privilege instead of a right, which is a bad precedent to set. (Honestly I'm not even sure if they did misgender her I don't remember the episode too well so sorry if that's completely wrong)

Well said, great to be open and honest about it. I'd honestly suggest perhaps getting a new editor though, because at the end of the day, this is something we are paying for. So I understand your view of he can get to them when he can as they're bonuses, but to us they're not just bonus episodes they're a monthly subscription service essentially. So I'd love if a new editor could be hired specifically for the bonuses as they're technically worth more from the fans (maybe not worth more than the regular episodes because of sponsors, but to us your fans we aren't actively paying for the regular episodes, but we are these, so to have them be done as seriously and as in time as you take the main ones would be awesome. Or it can slightly give off a feeling of "your money isn't as worthwhile as the ad revenue money" type of thing, I may be in the minority though, just my general view of it.

Hey man, stuff just happens, and the Chris Chan stuff was never easy to begin with. We all appreciate the transparency and respect that you show not just for the fans but the others on the podcast as well.

To be honest if I could provide some feedback, I don't mind you guys deleting episodes when you're uncomfortable it's understandable. What I wanted to criticize was that the main line and bonus episodes have been releasing at random times. Even the mainline episodes I thought one of the benefits of patron was to get it before its released on YouTube. I'm happy to see it being addressed but it is something I'm curious towards.
