Generally I prefer subs because the acting just on average tends to be better especially in slice of life series cuz it sounds weird hearing western American accents saying Japanese names or concepts. But I don't really mind dubs in isekai or battle shounens. But that being said the only dub better than the sub is ghost stories. Even with my nostalgia for dbz the sub for dragon ball super grew on me. And I actually like Goku's Japanese VA she has a good range of emotion despite giving goku Gohan and goten the same voice.
