2023-10-22 10:11:55 +0000 UTCBack in 2016 I was in a twitter GC with Baked Alaska and literally all he did was ask people to send him memes and jokes for him to repost he was so incredibly boring lol. Also I made him a profile pic of him pretending to shoot a bow and arrow in front of an American flag on a shitty mobile app and I'm pretty sure he still uses it on whatever platforms he's on, it's still on google images for his IMDb at least

2023-08-01 23:54:59 +0000 UTCSorry but anytime you have to say "wait till it gets good" or "it starts to pick up" it's automatically trash. There's a common philosophy in writing that hooking someone is the hardest part, if your show can't do that from the beginning it just isn't that good. Not to mention one piece fights are some of the shittiest in all of anime. This is coming from someone who did start early and have the show multiple shots. It's trash, especially compared to other anime

2023-06-13 15:09:10 +0000 UTCOne piece slander is something we one piece fans are used to some people just can't comprehend its depths. And unless you started early it'll be something overhyped for you. The anime picks up once you get to the baratie but the series high points that people rave about happen much later and as someone who started watching at about 10 when it had like 400 or so episodes I stopped because the art style was so different then I came back to it a few months later and have been invested ever since. Though from the sound of it Charlie didn't really like the action scenes and to be fair most of one pieces praise is for character work and world building there are only a few fights that people really like.

2022-11-27 19:40:14 +0000 UTCThe only good Star Wars movies is the original trilogy, although the sequels are objectively better than the prequels with the exception of Episode 3.

2022-07-13 02:39:16 +0000 UTCJackaon did a terrible job and defending order 66.
2022-07-11 07:53:25 +0000 UTCthe thing kaya said about thin women being inherently hot is untrue like 200 years ago fat women were seen as hot

2022-07-02 22:49:51 +0000 UTCAndrew ranting about star wars was hard to hear
2022-06-06 01:41:42 +0000 UTCI hope Jackson and Andrew learn that the Thought Bomb is a thing in Star Wars.
2022-06-05 23:13:23 +0000 UTCThe reason the Jedi didn’t Spider Sense the attack is because the clones never changed their intentions, they were programmed to follow orders and 66 was just one more that did not created any disturbance in the force.
2022-06-02 01:52:31 +0000 UTCSurprised I know this bit of Star Wars lore thar Jackson doesn't, but the reason that bringing balance to the force means eliminating the Sith is that using the Dark Side is disrupting the nature of The Force itself, throwing it further out of balance. So think of it that the Jedi are trying to bring a set of scales into balance while the Sith ate shaking the table they're on or trying to break the chains holding the plates. Also, the quickest way to fix Order 66 in the movie is to just speed up the Jedi killing montage to 2x speed. Order 66 worked so well because the elite Jedi were caught off-guard, but in Revenge of the Sith the montage is shot in such a slow, moment-savoring way to highlight the emotional stakes that in-universe all the Jedi Masters should have been able to defend themselves like Yoda did. Except for Pop Koon, he was kind of fucked.
