Andrew, you should try out "takikomi gohan." In Japan, a lot of people just make it themselves but you can buy premix sachets which you just add in to your rice cooker before pressing the cook button. Plain rice is nice n all but 炊き込みご飯 is on a whole nutha level

I absolutely dislike that shitt and think it’s cringe too, buttttt why does it matter ? They had fun making it and it’s probably a good memory for them so why does that matter I mean we do have the choice to not watch it lol.

So I have an instapot duo and by god it changed my life. Not only can I like pressure cook whole chickens and frozen food I can just change the lid and then make it crispy. You can make chicken so easily it has a like a bake option. It’s bascially an all in one mini oven and I love it to death. Definitely try it out

Air fryers im pretty sure are basically an oven and a dehydrator combined it moves the air around using a big fan which makes the food crispier so its really good for frozen food
