Leave it to the uneducated to shit on trucks. Trucks are getting bigger, yes, but so are cars. Look at the Honda Civic from 1990 and compare it to what we have today. It's because of all the safety and emissions devices these automakers are forced to put in. Duallys are useful because their axles can support more weight. Vans are better for carrying shit, but trucks are better for towing.

As a German I have to add that that people here generally do not know anything real about the United States but only what they see in movies or hear from the media. And the media is (still) just about Trump and disasters like school shootings and bad decisions in the politics. As soon as Biden took over, the amount of news about the US decreased so much and what stuck was the bad news. Also people do not comprehend that one State is practically a large country (sizewise) in Europe. Mostly even bigger. The majority have never set a foot on American soil nor did they even talk to an United States citizen. It's always just bashing and it used to be good fun for a long time but it is getting worse. And, as Kaya said, it's because quality of life in Germany is rapidly decreasing. So how is one feeling better? By talking shit about another one. The comedic bashing is becoming genuine contempt. And it's worrying me. Because envy is a very dangerous thing.
