We Hear You
Added 2023-09-13 16:39:13 +0000 UTCYes, we hear you. It's safe to say the last episode has gone down in history as the most disliked episode in the podcast. We won't be releasing it publicly (but I'm not going to remove it from Patreon) and will instead be re-recording sometime before the weekend. We'll try to get a replacement episode up before the weekend, well, ends.
I don't have any reasons or excuses for why the episode was so bad. I think the main criticism has been heard that the whole "shitting on me" aspect of the show has overstayed it's welcome.
May as well talk about it now but that stuff doesn't typically bother me and hasn't bothered me much at all over the last few years but I completely understand why it's not fun for the audience by this point and I agree with you! It's getting old for even me, as well, as a recurring theme (it's not hurtful or anything, it's just extremely repetitive now)! In conclusion, it's probably best to leave the whole "shitting on Jackson" trope to the professionals (Saten).
It's unfortunate that this happened so close to the September Vibes post, but I'm still taking all of the stuff in that thread on deck for the future and we're still working on additional stuff to hopefully bring the quality back up on the show (including additional content). The next episode of Podophiles will be slightly delayed to make room for the replacement episode but I'm hoping to get it up by next Monday.
Thanks for your patronage (I really appreciate you guys a whole lot and seeing a lot of you having been here for literal years is mindblowing to me) and thank you so much for the support,

I know Andrew and Charlie wouldn’t touch the patreon account but at least address it in an episode so we know it’s not just Jackson covering for them.

2023-09-15 19:11:23 +0000 UTCI didn’t think it was that bad, just weaker in comparison to previous episodes. Andrew was being kind of a dick but I doubt he would listen to the criticism. I sometimes forget Charlie is a part of the podcast. Jackson and Kaya are 10/10. I don’t think a weak standard episode is bad but I’d be pissed if it was a shitty bonus.
