The reason bugs life and antz came out near the same time is actually an interesting story you should look it up. But basically Jeffrey Katzenberg used to work at Disney but left while they were making A Bug’s Life. And he went and founded Dreamworks and made Antz to try to one up them and threatened them to push back bug’s life’s release date or something, but they didn’t and it still made more money.

I was the guy who asked that “American” Patreon question at the end. I’ve actually lived in America my whole life but even I can point out when I see something that makes me go “yep, this is the land of the free home of the brave”. Like one time I saw a fat woman in a mobility scooter “walking” her dog on the side of a road and I just thought “this is very American”. Big flags and lawyer ads were good answers too though I would have never even thought of that .
