2024-07-17 06:28:17 +0000 UTCIk this is an older episode so nobody is gonna see this but in my experience with camping putting boots on takes the longer then putting on things like a jacket so maybe since they were in a hurry they were attempting to get enough layers as fast as possible cause it was either multiple layers of clothes or just boots

The hikers were freaked out from all the trauma and seeing a Yeti up close so they scattered leaving thier shoes behind. The Yeti himself is radioactive which is why wherever he touched them there's trace radiation.

How could a stove bomb have gone off inside and it still be said to look fine? Obviously they were in a hurry to get out of the tent, but I really doubt they would've known an avalanche was coming and still had time to put on that many layers of clothing. Also, where were the boots found? In the tent?

They say the "lack of evidence" from the same government that arrest people for having instruments and have executed people with forced confessions. Imo the propped up body and fist bruises along with the nature of the sudden struggle and weird decisions can be connected to someone jumping them with the group hiding and improvising and ultimately dying from exposure. Also there are ways to cover your tracks, and this could've been a case of bad investigation where tracks were there but weren't found just out of incompetency, that happens ALOT when you hear about serial killers in the US, its x3 for the soviet union, one of Andrei Chikatilo's victim's brother was executed under false confession just to close the case and my point if wendigoon gives shit to American investigators pre-2000s but he doesn't give shit to foreign governments who are even worst (fyi wendigoon rocks but wendi kinda fucks up here) I'd give some credit to the "bomb" theory. The red scare laughs at the idea of drone striking hikers but there's stories of vets doing weird / fucked up shit out of boredom/frustration. Corrupt or evil people in positions with power who are not regulated have and do fucked shit under the radar, like look how hard the boys were laughing, irl a random guardsmen drunk af would likely laugh twice as harder and say "fuck it lets do it". Without modern technology and the internet I doubt a lot of the war crimes in the war in Ukraine would even be known for example. There could've been shrapnel and evidence of a bomb there but that would NOT look good for the soviet military so it was hidden like a lot of things.

He has dark pants and you can see a shape close to his head that looks like the upper portion of a zipped up coat. Also, I believe it was the Lore Lodge that explained the radiation. Apparently, the amount found was just a negligible trace amount that would be consistent with anyone who had worked in a nuclear plant. They also had Dyatlov's journal in their vid, which provides a lot of context for some of the questions and theories you guys have. For example, the stove used was not a typical commercial one, but an experimental one someone on the trip had made and was testing as part of the trip objective. Also, some of their injuries were theorized to have been from attempting to climb the tree but falling, resulting in the tree having damaged limbs and the one guy being found with pine needles and moss in his hair. Iirc there was also like a ridge or a drop around then den they were in, and it's possible someone had fallen there as well. I think the best theory would either be the stove malfunction or the test of an air-burtst bomb, which could explain the injuries and lack of destruction.
