I'm mostly on kayas and Andrews side on stealing things except when taken into practice we see Walmarts, Targets, Walgreens shut down and close business in impoverished neighborhoods where they are needed the most as the direct result of shoplifting. Stealing involves a victim like if I were to steal a car the owner loses their car. When I Pirate a game or a movie no body loses anything specially when I'm pirating software I can not obtain for what ever reason like it being region locked, no longer being sold. A game like driver San Francisco (really good game recommend) I can technically obtain legally but it is too much of a hassle because they removed it from all digital store fronts they wouldn't even get my money because I would have to buy it second hand.
