Even if you pull out the facts they will still run to the defense of their fave because most people think they know who others really are. Exposing Disrespect tells his fan base that they aren't actual all-seeing eyes when it comes to snooping these people out, and they're just as likely to be fooled as anyone else. Some people take this in stride, but some people get really upset and end up doing mental gymnastics to downplay the situation or "debunk" what is provable fact. They can't take the blow to their egos or parasocial relationships.
