i just remembered, doing those 25 expressions draw-challenges helps a lot! figuring out the differences between joy, happy, content, etcetera is super helpful + afterwards you have a cheat sheet for future drawings!
2021-05-13 21:16:38 +0000 UTCpractice drawing from references (real people & other artists) a bunch until you "understand" how a face work, doing the expressions yourself also kinda helps. working digitally helps a ton! adjusting and moving whole portion of a face until it "feels" correct. just keep working at it until it clicks. thx for asking!
